Utility Search
This is usually undertaken at a pre-development stage to ascertain the availability of surrounding utility infrastructure to serve the proposed development and identify any capacity issues.
We procure budget costs for infrastructure and connections.
The search also identifies if the site is traversed by any existing utility equipment or easements and procures budget costs associated with necessary diversions.
Utility Design Management
We use a pro-active approach to secure proposals from service providers by issuing a drawing showing the proposed route of their network at tender stage.
The routes of services are in accordance with Street Works UK Guidelines and are
co-ordinated with both Civil Engineers and Landscape Architects to avoid conflicts.
The development is tendered to both multi-utility and traditional utility providers.
We provide a Combined Utility Plan and a Utility Duct Plan.
